1. THE PURPOSE OF THE INFORMATION NOTICE

The purpose of this page is to describe how the site is managed with regard to the processing of the personal data of the users who consult it, which will be processed in accordance with the rules of lawfulness, correctness, relevance and non-excessiveness.

This information notice is also provided pursuant to art. 13 of Reg. 679/2016 - European General Data Protection Regulation, abbreviated as GDPR -, to those who interact with all web services of Teporia S.r.l, accessible via internet. (see list in section 11 of the information notice). 

This statement only applies to the websites of Teporia S.r.l and not to other websites that the user may consult through links.

The information notice is also inspired by Recommendation No. 2/2001 that the European authorities for the protection of personal data, meeting in the Working Party established by Article 29 of Directive No. 95/46/EC (download), adopted on 17 May 2001 to identify certain minimum requirements for the on-line collection of personal data, and, in particular, the methods, timing and nature of the information that data controllers must provide to users when they connect to web pages, regardless of the purpose of the connection, as well as the subsequent guidelines on consent issued by the EDPB (European Data Protection Board) on 4 May 2020. Also relevant to cookies is the General Provision of the Guarantor of 8 May 2014, as amended by the Provision entitled 'Guidelines for cookies and other tracking tools' (web doc. no. 9677876 - Official Journal of 9 July 2021)

2. THE DATA CONTROLLER                                                                                                                Following consultation of this site, data relating to identified or identifiable persons, as defined in Art. 4 of Reg. 679/2016, may be processed.

The 'Data Controller' responsible for their processing is Teporia S.r.l, whose registered office is in Via Cusani, 10 20121 Milano - Italia. The websites are the property of Teporia S.r.l, which is the exclusive owner of the rights of exploitation of the relevant domain names, trademarks, distinctive signs and the rights of economic use of the texts, photographs, videos, slideshows and any other multimedia products. The company owns the copyright on the graphical interface of the platform.

3. LOCATION OF THE DATA PROCESSING ACTIVITIES

The processing operations connected to the web services of this website take place at the above-mentioned offices of Teporia S.r.l and are carried out only by technical personnel of the Office in charge of processing, or by persons in charge of occasional maintenance operations.

Data are processed on the basis of their storage in computer files at the premises of the company, with the guarantee of compliance with the appropriate measures in accordance with Articles 24 and 32 of the GDPR.

4. CATEGORIES OF DATA PROCESSED

1_Purposes for which data collection is inherent to internet browsing, or necessary for the execution of the business relationship or request made, including:

a) Management of website operation processes of Teporia S.r.l During their normal activities, websites acquire personal data. The transmission of such data is implicit in the use of internet communication protocols. These are data that are not specifically collected to be associated with identified individuals. However, due to their nature, their processing and association with other data held by third parties could indeed allow the identification of users. Data may include the IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by the users to visit the Website, the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) notation addresses of the requested resources, request times, methods used to submit the requests to the server, the sizes of the files obtained in response, the numerical codes indicating the status of the response given by the server, and other data regarding the computer environment of the user. This data is used for the sole purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information on the use of the site and to check its correct functioning. The data could be used to ascertain liability in the event of hypothetical computer crimes against the site, only at the request of the relevant supervisory bodies. Furthermore, in the course of your navigation on the pages of the site, the Data Controller may make use of cookies in order to improve your user experience, in particular cookies that are strictly necessary for the proper functioning of the site.

b) Handling of user requests (data provided voluntarily by the user): the personal data that you voluntarily provide when consulting the site, such as contact forms, registrations in reserved areas, requests to receive informative material, requests for assistance, requests to subscribe to newsletters, requests made via web chat, or requests made through the optional, explicit and voluntary sending of e-mail messages to the addresses indicated on this site, entails the acquisition of the information necessary to respond to requests, as well as any other personal data included in the request.

c) Use of e-commerce services, if any. The data provided will be processed for the specific purpose of following up on your requests to purchase articles and products offered by the site, fulfilling administrative, accounting and tax obligations connected with the sale of the articles themselves, managing payments through authorised payment circuits, and in general for the fulfilment of legal or contractual obligations undertaken towards you, including managing organisational activities to complete the order, make deliveries and shipments, and comply with the terms and conditions provided for (e.g. making refunds).

2_Promotional, customer loyalty and marketing purposes

a) Commercial and promotional management following the first contact or following the use of e-commerce services, regarding solutions, services, organisation of events, in line with the services and solutions proposed (e.g. communication of information on our products and services, our shops, events, soliciting participation in competitions or prize operations organised by the Controller, or other promotional purposes).

b) Processing of statistics and market analysis, including through surveys and questionnaires or requests for the collection of reviews, market research and/or customer satisfaction surveys, including through the use of third-party technical cookies. In compliance with the provisions of the law of the Guarantor for the identification of simplified procedures for sending information and obtaining consent for the use of cookies (provision of 8 May 2014 et seq.), the undersigned has prepared specific information on cookies and put in place procedures and processes for the specific management of informed consent. You will find more details about these cookies and related processing in the 'COOKIES and other tracking tools' section.

c) Periodic communications or subscription to newsletters: forwarding of newsletters or periodic communications by email containing information on offers, products, news, events concerning the Teporia S.r.l spa world related brands;

3_ Personnel search and selection.

a) Where applicable, there may be publications for personnel search and selection, with possible forms to collect curricular and/or related biographical information. We therefore inform you that the data relating to you and contained in your curriculum vitae, as well as any data processed during the selection interview, are acquired and processed on paper and on magnetic, electronic or telematic support solely for the purpose of assessing our possible interest in the establishment of a working relationship and/or collaboration. Such data may include 'special' data, defined as personal data revealing racial or ethnic origin, religious, philosophical or other beliefs, political opinions, membership of parties, trade unions, associations or organisations of a religious, philosophical, political or trade-unionist character, as well as personal data disclosing health (e.g. membership to protected categories, disabilities and disability percentage) and sex life. Your application will remain in our database for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which the data were collected, unless you expressly request deletion. The provision of this data is optional, however, your refusal to provide it and its subsequent processing will make it impossible for us to enter your data in our files, so we will not be able to make any necessary assessment for the selection process. For our part, we assure you that the data collected will be used exclusively for personnel recruitment and selection activities on our behalf, or companies that are part of our Group, to which the data collected may be communicated with the invitation to treat it with the same confidentiality that we have always applied and in any case in full compliance with current legislation protecting personal privacy. Teporia S.r.l undertakes not to disclose any data collected without first interviewing the person concerned. With regard to the data itself, you may always exercise the rights provided for in Regulation 679/2016, for example, the right at any time to obtain information on the processing of your data, its methods and purposes and the logic applied to it, and in particular to request its deletion (see section on exercising rights).

5. DATA PROCESSING PROCEDURE

Personal data are processed using automated means for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected. Specific security measures are observed to prevent the loss of data, disclosure, illicit or incorrect use and unauthorised access.

6. OPTIONALITY/OBLIGATION TO PROVIDE DATA

Except as specified for the purposes of point 1) sub a), the provision of data for the purposes of point 1) sub b) is necessary, and any refusal to provide the information requested and marked as mandatory may make it impossible to process your requests at 'the site'. The provision of data for the purposes set out in purposes 2, 3 and 4 is optional and any refusal to provide your data for these purposes will only result in the impossibility of carrying out the activities described therein. Communications relating to these purposes will always bear a dedicated information notice, including on how to exercise your rights to stop receiving communications of a promotional/commercial nature. For cookies, except for those of a necessary nature, the user can acquire information on the types with additional purposes and learn how to manage their consent in the "COOKIES and other tracking tools" section.

7. COMMUNICATION OF DATA

With the exception of what is stated above for possible requests by the supervisory bodies in charge, no browsing data from the web service is communicated or disseminated. The personal data provided by users who request forwarding of information material (newsletters, requests for information, catalogues, CD-ROMs, etc.) are used solely for the purpose of providing the service or provision requested, and are communicated to third parties only if necessary for this purpose (dispatch services of Teporia S.r.l). Personal data collected for the purposes of managing e-commerce services, where applicable, may be disclosed to:

-banks and related payment circuits (e.g. amount subject to payment), for the management of payments and collections relating to purchases made online. The data concerning the use and authorisation of payment cards are exclusively managed by the respective banking circuits.

-third parties who support us in the handling of the transaction (e.g. forwarding agents and carriers), if this should become necessary in order to fulfil contractual obligations towards you

-third parties providing technical services related to site management or the management of related IT infrastructures.

8. INFORMATION ON COOKIES and other tracking tools

A cookie is a small text file that is stored by the computer when a website is visited by a user. The text stores information that the site is able to read when it is consulted at a later date. Some of these cookies are necessary for the proper functioning of the site, while others are useful to the visitor because they can securely store, for example, user name or language settings. Others are cookies that are not strictly necessary and may be present on some of the sites that belong to Teporia S.r.l for statistical, performance measurement, or marketing reasons. 

Where cookies are potentially present that go beyond the purposes strictly necessary for the operation of the site, there are information banners that allow users to freely set their own preferences as to whether or not to apply these cookies, with detailed information as per the 'Guidelines for the use of cookies and other tracking tools' (web doc. no. 9677876 - Official Gazette 9 July 2021).

Google Tag Manager (GTM)

Google Tag Manager (GTM) is a tag management system for managing JavaScript and HTML tags used for tracking and analysing websites. Tags are small code elements that, among other things, are used to measure traffic and visitor behaviour: to understand the effect of online advertising and social channels; to set up remarketing and target group orientation; to test and optimise websites. GTM makes it easier for us to integrate and manage our tags. We use GTM on our website to include the following tracking tools:

Pinterest TAG: we use the Pinterest Conversion Tag to recognise a computer when a user visits our website, to target advertisements that may be of particular interest to specific users and to validate sessions of authenticated users.

9. BLOGS AND COMMENTS - Terms and conditions

When visiting some websites, the user, whether registered or not, may be able to post comments (e.g. e-news, shop articles, etc.). The posting of names and comments may entail the collection of personal data by Teporia S.r.l in accordance with this privacy policy.

The personal data provided are used for the sole purpose of allowing the user to take advantage of the comments and/or reviews service and to associate what is posted with its author.

The legal bases are therefore the execution of pre-contractual and contractual measures relating to the comment and/or review service and the legitimate interest in making the name of the commentator known to the public.

Should it become necessary, the data may also then be used for the legitimate interest of the data controller to carry out defensive activities or to assert or defend a right in court.

The comments and/or reviews service is set up in such a way that some of the data released are published together with the comment; the user is therefore asked to consider beforehand whether to use a nickname so as not to be easily recognisable to those visiting the web page where the comments are published.

It is also down to the user to disclose any data referring to him or her or to third parties that may be found in the posted comments, so please pay attention to the content of your post before publishing it.

The data will be processed by employees and collaborators authorised to process them. The data may also be disclosed to the competent Authorities in the event of specific requests which the data controller is required by law to comply with, to consultants or companies providing IT supply and assistance services for activities carried out on behalf of the data controller, and to legal advisors for the management of litigation and for legal assistance in the event of any disputes requiring their involvement.

The data subject may request from the Data Controller the list of external entities carrying out data controller activities on its behalf.

Communication is however limited to the categories of data whose transmission is necessary for the performance of the activities and purposes pursued.

Teporia S.r.l reserves the right to publish the comment only after its own unquestionable assessment. Offensive, discriminatory or so-called hate speech comments, e.g. with xenophobic and racist content, are expressly forbidden.

The data are stored together with the published comment, unless a request for deletion is made.

Subject to any defence requirements, the data may be retained even beyond the stated time limits.

The data subject may assert his or her rights at any time, without formalities, by contacting the data controller, as specified in the general information notice, section regarding the rights of data subjects.

10. RIGHTS OF DATA SUBJECTS

The subjects to whom the personal data refer have the right, pursuant to Reg. 679/2016, to obtain at any time, upon specific request, confirmation of the existence or non-existence of such data and to know their content and origin (so-called Access Art.15), verify its accuracy or request its integration or updating, or rectification (art.16), as well as, if the conditions exist, request its Cancellation (art.17), Limitation (art.18), Portability (art.20), Opposition (art.21).

For requests to unsubscribe from newsletters or promotional communications, it is possible to use the relevant function within the same e-mail communication ("Unsubscribe" or similar button). In this case, the unsubscription will only apply tothe brand or unit of the Group from which the communication originates.
